Which tablets are the most Google Apps friendly?

Obviously in 2013 not all of the Google Apps work on my iPad or iPhone.  I can view but not edit in certain apps, and if I switch an iPad to "desktop mode" on a Google Doc, then I can edit with limited functionality.  But are things better with other tablets?  What about Google OS tablets?  What about Windows tablets? which tablets are most friendly to Google Apps?
